When You Need Help Carrying Responsibility — Your Nightly Prayer

Have you been carrying more than you were meant to carry alone?

Responsibility can slowly become isolation.

We tell ourselves:

I should be able to handle this.

I don’t want to bother anyone.

Everyone else already has enough going on.

But God did not create us to walk through life disconnected from Him or from one another.

Tonight’s Scripture

“Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ.” — Galatians 6:2

Sometimes you are the person called to help carry someone else’s burden.

Other times, humility means admitting that you are the one who needs help.

Both require love.

Galatians 6 also reminds us to approach struggling people gently. When someone falls, our first response should not be gossip, judgment, or distance. Christlike love moves closer with humility, wisdom, and compassion.

Tonight, ask yourself:

What am I carrying that has become too heavy to hold alone?

And:

Who around me may need someone to quietly help carry the weight?
