1 Corinthians 15:57 says:

“But thanks be to God! He gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.”

Our ultimate victory isn't something we manufacture through positive thinking or perfect circumstances. It comes through Jesus Christ and what He has accomplished for us.

When discouraging thoughts tell you to retreat, return to God's truth. You belong to Christ. His grace is sufficient. His love is unfailing. And the ultimate victory over sin and death has already been won.
