A Prayer for Helping Someone with a Broken Heart | Your Daily Prayer

Do you know someone whose heart is breaking right now?

Maybe they are grieving a loss.

Walking through betrayal.

Facing a painful diagnosis.

Processing a breakup.

Or carrying a sorrow you cannot fix.

Romans 12:15 gives us a simple but powerful instruction:

“Mourn with those who mourn.”

Jesus modeled this beautifully in John 11.

With Mary, He wept.

With Martha, He offered truth and assurance.

Same tragedy.

Different people.

Different needs.

Jesus met each one with compassion.

Today’s prayer is for anyone trying to support a hurting friend, family member, coworker, or loved one.

We’ll ask God for wisdom to know when to speak, when to listen, when to cry, when to offer truth, and when simply to stay close.

You do not have to fix someone’s heartbreak.

You can help carry it.
