"Can any one of you by worrying add a single hour to your life?" — Matthew 6:27 (NIV)
Worry can feel productive because it keeps our minds busy, but Jesus reminds us that worry cannot add time, change outcomes, or guarantee that the future will unfold the way we imagine.
It can, however, steal today's peace.
How many blessings have we overlooked because our minds were already living in tomorrow?
How many answered prayers have we missed because we were already anxious about the next one?
God is not asking you to pretend tomorrow does not matter. He is asking you to remember who will already be there when tomorrow comes.
The God who sustained you yesterday will still be faithful in the morning.
Tonight, release the "what ifs." You do not need tomorrow's strength yet. Receive today's grace and let your faithful Father hold the future.
