Homemade Gut Friendly Pesto Sauce
¾ cups raw cashews
1 cup fresh de-stemmed organic fresh basil
2 tablespoon garlic cold-pressed extra virgin olive oil
1-2 tablespoon lemon juice
½ -1 teaspoon sea salt (to desired taste)
1/4 cup filtered water

Directions
Add all the ingredients to the food processor or blender.
Pulse the mixture in a food processor or blender, adding 1 tablespoon of water, or more oil, at a time to help facilitate blending and in order to reach the desired consistency for the sauce. makes approximately 1 cup. (This sauce can be stored in a reusable bag and frozen or put in ice cube trays so that you can just easily pop a few out and top off your favorite noodles.)
Serve over cooked spaghetti squash and grilled chicken.
