Today, I want to share with you four simple ways that you can add some fun into celebrating Easter and Passover and all of these wonderful feasts that we have going on in the spring. It's always my joy and honor to serve you God’s recipe for excellent health. As we eat and we are nourished physically, we can also share in conversation that will fill us up spiritually. So that's my goal for sharing with you.

How To Celebrate Passover:

1. Visit a farm with lamb and read the story of Abraham and Isaac.

Number one would be go visit a farm, go visit a farm that has real lambs, not just a stuffed one, and just let your children see it and experience it. And even if you can go back several days, Scripture teaches us that for four days in Exodus, they were to bring the lamb into the home and inspect it will take your children to the farm every day for four days. And just keep learning and just you know, absorbing what God is teaching us about the lamb. Alright, so number one, visit a lamb. While you do visit this lamb, I want you to also go back and study the story of Abraham and Isaac. And as you remember, when you study the story about Abraham and Isaac in Genesis, they're climbing up the hill. And Isaac says, you know, where is the lamb, we have the wood, we have the fire, but we don't have a lamb. And Abraham says, And Moses put it into the Word, God will provide Himself a lamb.

2. Make drawings of a lamb.

Now you were to watch the lamb for four days in the home. So I would have each child color their own lamb, and then keep this with them everywhere. They go for four days because Jesus also when he came into the temple, he was questioned, he was interrogated for four days. And so the lamb had to be an exodus and had to be watched by the family for four days.

3. Celebrate Passover as a family.

And then number three is to celebrate Passover together as a family, make it an annual event, just as the Scripture says we should.

4. Make recipes serving lamb.

Number four is to make recipes serving lamb. You can find lamb in the grocery store, some grocery stores all year round. But other grocery stores definitely on Easter Week or Resurrection Sunday eat week, definitely there's lamb and so definitely had that.

5. Make some note cards.

In fact, I've got some Passover note cards for you to print out down below. And they have just key elements of the story. So cut these out, put them on the table and they become conversation starters. So you can just keep reiterating and reinforcing the story of the true Passover lamb and resurrection.

Put your comments down below, what would you like me to teach you and remember, as we as we dine at the dinner table, and we share about God's goodness, our children and grandchildren will take that with them the rest of their life. Please don't underestimate the value of this when we eat together when we fellowship together and we speak about God's Word that carries with us a long time.
