Do you sometimes feel out of place in the culture of our times? As true followers of Jesus Christ, sometimes obeying the teachings of Jesus seem to be contrary to the majority of culture and practices all around us! But may you be encouraged to know that throughout the bible, the people who walked with God were often despised by the world including Jesus Himself!

It is not our desire to be despicable by other people. We should love and give grace to others. But many will not want to receive this gospel because the preaching of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing! May we continue to stand up for Jesus and His truth no matter what the world around us say or think about us.

The lamb who was slain is worthy to receive the reward for His suffering amen!
