What day was Jesus crucified? Was it Wednesday, Thursday or Friday? Historically the church has believe that Jesus was crucified on Friday, hence the holiday Good Friday. However, many scholars have strong biblical support to suggest that Jesus was actually crucified on another day of the week, namely Wednesday or Thursday.
