Twitch ads are making things worse for streamers! Just recently, news came out that Twitch may be looking at reducing some streamer's sub revenue splits from 70/30 to 50/50. The reason for this you ask? To try and push streamers to run more Twitch ads.<br />

Twitch ads have been around for a little while now in various forms. But more recently, Twitch ads have gotten worse and worse. To the point where most viewers have to watch a 30-second Twitch ad before even getting to watch a streamer at all if they aren't already subbed to the streamer.<br />

This makes growth on Twitch much harder and also really undermines the flow of a Twitch streamer's stream and content. Twitch isn't giving creators a choice when it comes to Twitch ads. And they aren't even paying streamers appropriate amounts for running ads.
