When someone says something to you, you may wonder- is this God’s voice? Or is it from the enemy?
Many times when I travel, and I speak and someone will come up to me and make a comment. And sometimes it won't be a nice comment. And I have to take that comment and go back to my room and say, Lord, is this of you? Is this something I need to be paying attention to? Is this something I need to change? Or was this totally not of you? People don't realize every comment that I hear and read in regards to what I'm doing in this ministry, I take litter I take not really literally but I take it sincerely. Because I need to know if God is speaking through someone else to me. Or if this is totally not of the Lord, then there's a couple ways that we can discern this in our own heart and in our own mind. And we're going to talk about that today - how to hear God’s voice, how to hear the voice of God clearly.
When people say things to you or when you read something that may seem contrary, you need to ask what is your source? That source must be confirmed with what the word has told you. And that is to your spirit. I knew in my heart that was not true. It gave me that. You know that deep punch in the gut kind of feeling rather than the softness and stillness of the heart that God is with us.
To know how to hear God’s voice, you need to always go back to the scripture. God’s message is the same - it is the message of love. So, when you hear negative things from someone, then you can very well understand that it is not God speaking to you but the enemy. It is
