Prayer Course By Carol Graham www.biblicalnutritionacademy.com/

There is so much going on in our world today that today we're going to talk about how to teach your children how to teach your kids not to fear. So much is happening around us with COVID.

We are going to unleash fear from our children today, because I really want you to understand what it means. What does fear look like? And then how can we help our children to not be afraid? This is so huge, and I'm so excited about this video today.

I have with me one of my favorite guests, one of my favorite friends, Carol Graham, she teaches a course in our inner circle on how to pray for miracles, how to just pray God's word. And the comments. And the testimonies from this course are just amazing.

So let's, let's start with this. I just want to help parents understand or recognize, many times children can be afraid or they can be anxious, and we don't even recognize the signs or symptoms. Sometimes we do but it's like, you know, for the last several months, this child's been acting like that. And it's like, yeah, but let's catch it sooner. Because our children are hurting, they're hurting because of what's going on. And just the normal day to day drama was plenty for kids to deal with. And then we add COVID On top of that, and we add you know, vaccines, we add the fear factor that's being fed through the media. Oh, it even makes me anxious just to say all of this, but we don't have to be.

So let's look at what are the signs of having fear in a child. And the same word could be anxiety, anxiety, and children. What does it look like? So number one, it could be that they don't obey. And you may say, Well, what happened? You know, Sally used to do everything I said, and now she's not, she's just being obstinate, she's being hard to control. That can be anxiety that can be fear. Another symptom is demanding. They can demand certain foods, they can demand their tablet, they can demand the TV, they can demand their own sleep hours, they become very demanding. Another symptom is sleeplessness, or it can be very sleepy all the time.

We need to recognize this, you know, take a look at your children, how are they acting, has anything changed, if anything has changed, make note of it immediately. Our children are hurting and they shouldn't be.

The best way to address anything negative is from a positive place. And that, of course, is the word of God. Because no matter what fear we have, no matter what questions we have, no matter what lack of confidence we have in anything that we do and want to teach our children, we need to be there first. We need to have it evident in our lives. And so when we instill those positive things, and from the home, that has to go, you know, very far in their lives, they have to say, Well, my mommy and daddy aren't like that.

Teaching our children how to pray really is no different than how we teach ourselves how to pray. And that is the key is praying the word, praying the answer because the world doesn't have the answers. We parents don't necessarily have the answers. The answers may be hard to find, because no one knows what the answer is. But God tells us he's already given us the answer. So we look to the Word and the first place that I take my children, my grandchildren now is to Psalm 91.

But what they can do is say, God said, He's protecting me from this. I don't have to worry about this, because my mommy taught me that in the Bible, it says, No epidemic, no pandemic, no plague can come into my home. And we teach them to stand. Excuse me, specifically on that Scripture. And there's many scriptures along that line in the same. The same psalm, Psalm 91.

The Bible tells us back to praying the word again, that you have wisdom if you ask for it. It's such a simple thing. And so in my prayer, Lord, I need your wisdom, your guidance, your expertise, as the greatest father, and how to train my children so that they will follow you and how to help them through fear.
