Teaching Kids to Have Bold Faith Even When Facing Hate
Natasha Crain says it's important that as parents we are teaching kids to have bold faith even when facing hate.
The author of Faithfully Different says the reality of the situation today is that believers need to get used to being criticized for being Christian. She says that Jesus says in the Bible that the world will hate you and that it's to be expected.
Natasha says the culture has been changing rapidly in the last two years, the demographics tell an important story. She says research shows that while the majority of Americans may still call themselves Christians, only a fraction of them actually have a functioning biblical worldview. She says the numbers are low even within evangelical churches.
She says as a shrinking minority, Christian parents should teach their kids that it's important to remain under the authority of God and not under the authority of "the self."
