5 facts in the bible that will blow your mind.

In this video, we look at 5 interesting facts about the Bible. Some are funny, some are strange, but all are interesting.

As a book created by many authors and over thousands of years, The Bible is unlike any other book on Earth. It is full of amazing facts and truths that will blow your mind.

We have the naked Bible streaker,

They laid hands on Jesus and seized him. [So this is in the Garden of Gethsemane.] But one of those who stood by drew his sword and struck the servant of the high priest and cut off his ear. And Jesus said to them, ‘Have you come out as against a robber, with swords and clubs to capture me? Day after day I was with you in the temple teaching, and you did not seize me. But let the Scriptures be fulfilled.”
Two Enochs & The Parallel Kingdoms,
Enoch from Cain’s Line
It is difficult to say much beyond what the Scriptures record, but we do know that this Enoch continued Cain's rebellion against God. We read of nothing good coming from this line. The other Enoch must have cringed when the message of God was preached to him. Surely he was very proud of the name of the first city after him as his father named it after him (see last week's study), and engaged in the same wickedness as the haters of God. Enoch, Cain’s son, represents all those who rebel against God, this includes the hypocrite too. Sir Walter Raleigh conjectures that the city Henocii or Heniochi mentioned by Pliny and Ptolemy took the name from this city Henoch (Enoch) which was rebuilt after the Flood to continue the rebellion against God. This is not unbelievable since we know that Noah’s descendents went on to build Babel.

Enoch from Seth’s Line
As this man is part of the role of honor in Hebrews 11, his life of faith can instruct us on how we should live for the Lord.

Enoch from Seth Walked With God
“And Enoch lived sixty and five years, and begat Methuselah: And Enoch walked with God after he begat Methuselah three hundred years, and begat sons and daughters: And all the days of Enoch were three hundred sixty and five years” (Genesis 5:21-23).

Teleportation,
As in Matthew and Mark's Gospels, the walking on the water scene follows immediately after the feeding of the five thousand. But this miracle of Yeshua walking on the water, and the disciples being rescued from the wind and being teleported to their destination is not mentioned in the rest of the Gospel. I think that the significance of this walking on the water and teleporting to shore is mainly to help the disciples to understand exactly who Yeshua is.

The Earth being divided
If the waters were all in one place, it seems logical that the land was also all in one piece elsewhere. If this were not true, then the water would have been in different places, like it is today, with multiple continents. I believe this is what Revelation 21 talks about the New Earth having no seas, meaning that land is one.

The power of Jesus aka the I AM.
The Koine Greek term Ego eimi (Greek Ἐγώ εἰμί, pronounced [eɣó imí]), literally I am or It is I, is an emphatic form of the copulative verb εἰμι that is recorded in the Gospels to have been spoken by Jesus on several occasions to refer to himself not with the role of a verb but playing the role of a name, in the Gospel of John occurring seven times with specific titles. These usages have been the subject of significant Christological analysis. The term I Am relating to God appears over 300 times in the Bible, first in the book of Genesis (15:1) and last in Revelation (22:16). This has led to the Biblical God sometimes being referred to as “the great ‘I am’”.
