My Body After Baby // Losing Weight, Weird Boobs, Losing My Hair!

I know this is a bit sensitive of a topic for some women but I did want to touch on it because post partum is no joke. Someone made a comment the other day that said I act like my identity is being a mom and a wife. At first, I internalized this believing that I could see how she would think that. We post a lot of content about those things! But, both of those titles are huge roles that I'm called to and Nick and I have always taken you along the journey of adulthood which now includes us being parents. We aren't going to shy away from marriage, motherhood, parenthood, and faith because that is our life! Those roles don't define us but they certainly are a huge part of what we are called to in this season. You may be called to other things currently, but I pray if you do step into these roles or anything similar that you embrace it completely! I'm still learning what it means to be a Christ-follower, wife, mom, friend, daughter, sister, content creator, and all the things. It can feel overwhelming sometimes and hateful comments sometimes make me want to leave this platform all together. But I have to remember that this place is not my identity. If anything I feel like I struggle with that more than getting wrapped up in being a mom and wife. I've been here for 10 years and there are ebs and flows of YouTube too. If I could just encourage you today, don't allow yourself to get caught up in anything other than your worth being in the One who created you. You are chosen, loved, and adored by God! I encourage you to read John 3:16 if you haven't. This is getting long so I'm going to depart lol but if you read this full thing I would love to read your comments about it!
