Today, I want to answer the question that comes up quite often. What does the Bible say about healthy living? This is a very important question, because it means we're looking for the truth. And that's what I'm going to share with you today.

Well, when we ask yourself, What does the Bible say about healthy living, it says a lot from a Genesis with the tree in the garden and the deed bearing fruit, and all the way to Revelation where we have the heat the leaves of the tree, which are healing for the nation.

So we've got our bookends, we've got Genesis, and we've got Revelation. Now we need to pull from the middle to gather the seeds, the nuts, the fruits, the vegetables to see what does the Bible say about healthy living? Well, remember back in Genesis in Genesis one God creates, and when he creates each day, he says, It is good. And good means in the original language of that scripture, it means excellent of its kind, valuable in estimation.

That means there's nothing that man can ever make, or try to make put together in a lab that's going to compare or compete with what God has given us. And so Scripture teaches us right away that not only is what he created, good, everything about the Earth is good. But we are good, we are excellent. The food he had given us is excellent, and his love and mercy is excellent.
