The questions today are all centered around healthy eating.

1. How to keep my family healthy without them feeling that I'm taking “good food” away. Plus my daughters and I have PCOS and we need support. - Jessica

First, let’s define good. Is it a flavor or an experience? Or is it being drug free? No prescriptions from the age 1 to 91? Is it being able to go walking and leaping and praising God? Is it to see God's handiwork in the foods that he created for our bodies to heal and to sustain energy? Maybe you could say it is good to see God's handiwork on our body so we can live with good moods and normal hormones? Or is it about foods that really just create that strong craving that you can't stop and it causes you to overeat? Or is it about foods that make you hungry when you're not really hungry? Is it about foods that create unhealthy cells that cause havoc with your hormones and havoc with your hormones is what leads to PCOS. So, I would suggest sitting down with your family at the table, giving each person a piece of paper and having them write down how they feel physically, spiritually and mentally and be honest. If one or more persons are dealing with PCOS, then they are on the road unhappy days and more challenges to come. This is the beginning of long term health problems.

2. With pollution and contamination of raw materials. Is it possible to have a healthy living in this era? - Elaine

The answer is yes, we're not living in biblical days. But we can trust God to help us make good choices and eat a healthful diet. So with every shopping trip, it is a prayer to pray and choose wisely and invest smartly in especially for our health. There are foods in these large chain stores that are confirmed harmful with chemical sprays such as glyphosate and pesticides. Now eating from boxes and prepared foods is always going to be a challenge. Learn to Cook from basics. We used to call it scratch but it's really just the basics. Homemade will allow more options for being in control of your food, never give up.

3. I've been trying to eat healthier. However, there's so many fads out there and access to quote clean food. How do I just keep it simple and healthy? - Carrie

Start with the three principles and write them out. Number one, eat the foods God called good read about this in Genesis one and Genesis two. Number two, eat the foods is close to God's design before altering. And number three, don't let any food or just food in general become your guide or an addiction.

4. How do you feel about a plant based diet for healing? - Carol

Since it is the first official plan of eating set forth by God, I'm pretty convinced it's very helpful. It is very helpful to keep in mind though, where the food was grown, what chemicals were used in growing it and processing it, and how many people touch the food that you're going to put in your mouth.

Real food given to us by a God who loves us and then being smart about our investment at the grocery store, or our investment at the local farmers market, or investing in seeds and growing food yourself. So much can be done to change the health of your body.
