Most of us know the story of David and Goliath—but this isn’t just a children’s story about bravery or facing your fears. In this video, we take a deeper look at 1 Samuel 17 and uncover how this story reveals God’s glory, true spiritual strength, and ultimately points us to Jesus.
We’ll explore what really motivated David, how staying in step with the Spirit matters more than reacting in the flesh, and why David’s confidence wasn’t in his own ability—but in the Lord. Most powerfully, we’ll see how David and Goliath is a foreshadowing of Christ, the true Champion who fought on our behalf when we were helpless. This story isn’t about how strong David was or how strong any of us are—it’s about WHO our trust is in.
