Itās easy to see Godās faithfulness in sweet moments of fulfillment like this: seeing my book for the first time, ten years after God first put it on my heart, with my favorite answered prayers. š¤
But one of the reasons writing this book was such a worshipful experience for me, is because it made it all the more clear that in the years I was sitting in unanswered prayers, feeling like God had forgotten me, wondering if He caredā¦He was so abundantly faithful even then. He was active and present in my life. He was working deep, beautiful purposes that I couldnāt see fully at the time, that were so much better than anything I could have come up with myself.

And that is my prayer for the reader who is there right now: sitting in unanswered prayers, feeling forgotten, wondering if God caresāthat these words would fill you with unshakeable hope and confidence that Godās heart toward you is GOOD. He is working beautiful purposes right here and right nowāin your delays, in your deep disappointments, and when things donāt go the way you plannedāand He is also preparing you for all the beautiful things He has ahead.
Jesus is the hero of this story, just like He is the hero of every story. And I pray that every word makes you fall more in love with Him.
