When I first became a mama, I knew I wanted to pray intentionally over my baby, but I wasn’t exactly sure where to start. One night as I was trying to avoid the habit of scrolling social media while nursing, the verse Isaiah 52:7 came to mind:
“How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of him who brings good news.”

I looked at my son’s tiny feet and prayed, “God would You make Judah’s feet beautiful feet that bring Your good news.” Then another thought came to mind: What other verses could I pray over my baby’s mind, body, and soul? That night I began praying a collection of verses over him, and I’ve continued to pray them over my babies ever since.
Now, I’ve turned these prayers into a beautiful children’s book with @seedandsparrowpress, in hopes that it will help you pray over your children as well. Prayer is the most powerful investment we can make into the lives of our children, and nothing is more powerful than praying God’s Word back to Him. 🤍🐤
