Do These Popular Scriptures Teach Health and Wealth?
Melissa Dougherty
Jeremiah 29:11 says: For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."
Philippians 4:13 says: "I can do all things through Christ who gives me strength."
These scriptures (and many others) are misused to promote an imbalanced view of prosperity. What do these scriptures actually mean?
Mike Winger helps break down scriptures sometimes misused by the New Age and Prosperity Preachers and corrects a common misunderstanding about biblical prosperity and the context of these verses.
