Your support truly brings blessings!

Have you ever wanted to whip up a healthy breakfast for your family, but somehow—poof!—the morning just disappears? Between trying to get everyone out the door and packing bags or lunches, there’s often no time left to cook, and it’s all too easy to reach for a pop tart or a store-bought protein bar.

But I’ve got a better way. I’m going to share one of my all-time favorite breakfast solutions: chewy, delicious, and Daniel Fast–friendly breakfast bars!

This easy and nutritious recipe comes straight from page 31 of my Healthy Treasures Cookbook and is perfect whether you're following the Daniel Fast or just want a plant-based, whole food breakfast you can feel good about.

Daniel Fast Breakfast Granola Bars Recipe
Ingredients:

3 cups (720ml) old-fashioned oats

1 cup (240ml) whole wheat flour (or a gluten-free alternative like pecan flour)

1 cup (240ml) protein powder

1 tsp baking powder

1 tsp baking soda

¼ tsp nutmeg

½ tsp cinnamon (or pumpkin pie spice for variety!)

1¼ cups (300ml) unsweetened applesauce

½ cup (120ml) sucanat (any variety)

1 tsp vanilla extract (real, not imitation!)

½ cup (120ml) dried fruit: raisins, chopped apples, cranberries, or a mix

How to Make:
Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C).

In a large bowl, mix all your ingredients together until well combined.

Spread the mixture evenly into a 9x13-inch baking dish.

Bake for 20 minutes or until lightly golden on top.

Let cool, then cut into bars.

These chewy granola bars are not only quick and easy to make, but they’re also plant-based, full of whole foods, and Daniel Fast–approved. Whether you’re starting a 21-day fast or just need a healthy breakfast that fits your busy lifestyle, this recipe is one you’ll come back to again and again.

Let me know if you try them!
