What Jesus Taught Us About Forgiving Our Enemies

“Father, forgive them, for they know not what they do.” (Luke 23:34)

These were among Jesus’ first words on the cross. He was in physical agony, surrounded by people who mocked and rejected Him, yet He prayed for forgiveness.

Jesus was fulfilling the very mission He came for: to seek and save the lost. Even in His suffering, He acted as our intercessor.

This moment reveals the depth of God’s mercy. It reminds us that no one is beyond the reach of grace, not even those who nailed Him to the cross.

The same mercy Jesus extended then is available now. No matter your past, you can be made new. 🙏🏽
