No one was greater than John the Baptist. Jesus himself said that, but even the greatest prophet can lose heart and faith. After months in a dungeon, the man who had been Jesus’ biggest believer and promoter started having doubts—so much that he sent two of his men to ask, “Are you really the one who is to come, or should we look for someone else?”
In this scene from Season 3, Episode Six, we get to hear Jesus’ answer to John along with some strong words to the religious leaders who refused to see the truth standing right in front of them.
