The "Balance" Myth

People ask how I balance it all, and to be honest…I don’t. (No, really, I don’t.) Just take a look at the floorboards in my car 🙃Perfect balance is a myth, but you can create a version that works for your life. For me, that looks like:
Saying no (even last-minute…this took me a while to be okay with).

Prioritizing based what season of life our family is at!
Scheduling rest without guilt…nights in for the win.
Staying connected to God, Winston & myself.

Letting my budget reflect my values.

And not comparing my life to anyone else’s… this one really should be first! It helps with everything else.You don’t have to do it all. Focus on what really matters, and the rest? It’s just not yours to carry.
