Do you find yourself gaining weight during the holidays?
You are not alone.
Weight gain during the holidays happens to so many people I know - and I was like that, too, at one point. But not anymore.
There are 3 steps I follow to avoid holiday weight gain, which I also teach my coaching clients. These 3 steps on how to stop weight gain holidays are all you need to feel more satisfied and happier with your body - and these are also biblical, which is why they work!
So here are the steps:
1. Decide.
First of all, decide on what your goals are. Why do you want to lose weight? Are you ready to lose weight? And how much weight do you want to lose?
You need to decide if you are ready for it and if you are committed to doing it.
Once you have made a decision, then you can move on to the next step:
2. Take action.
This involves making an effort to actualize your decision of wanting to lose weight and avoiding weight gain, to begin with.

3. Prepare.
Now, you have a plan of action, and you need to prepare for it.
Prepare to turn those plans into reality.
If you do not want to overeat, then you should never leave home for a party feeling super hungry.
Eat an organic apple or a slice of your homemade bread before you head out. The fiber in these foods can keep you satisfied and satiated, so you will be ready to face all that food and be wiser to pick the best ones for you.
And lastly, enjoy the fellowship over the fork.
Holidays are not just about food. It is about being with your loved ones and celebrating the presence of each and everyone in your life.
Also, it is about celebrating God and giving Him glory for all the blessings He has given you.
So go ahead and apply these 3 steps, celebrate God and the people you are with during holiday parties and meals, and always keep in mind to eat for nourishment and health.
