The Venerable Tricia Hillas, Canon and Archdeacon of Westminster discusses the life St Oscar Romero, Archbishop of San Salvador, who was shot dead while celebrating mass in the chapel of the hospital where he lived.

A statue of Oscar Romero can be found above Westminster Abbey's Great West Door. This statue is one of the Abbey's ten modern martyrs of the 20th-century. The modern martyrs represent Christians who gave up their lives for their beliefs.
