Friends, it was great pain that made Shia LaBeouf willing to try one last journey. He was, in his own words, “nuclear,” and he “didn’t want to be alive anymore.” An acting offer led him to encounter Padre Pio for the first time, which in turn took him to the Capuchin Friars at San Lorenzo.
