A Personal Note from Phil Wickham:
‘SOS (Don't Let Me Go)' came from a deeply personal place. A close friend was battling cancer, and as I prayed for him, I kept returning to Peter walking on water and the reminder to keep our eyes on Jesus through life’s greatest storms. Just weeks after I started writing the song, The Chosen team asked me to write one inspired by that very story. Watching Peter cry out, ‘Don’t let me go,’ I saw myself, my friend, and all of us who need Jesus, as we can’t do it on our own. That became the heart of this song and seeing it included and inspired by The Chosen: Seasons 1–5 was such a powerful, full-circle moment. My hope is that it reminds people that Jesus is greater than the storm, and we can trust Him to carry us through.”

LYRICS
Is it ok to say
I’m a little afraid
I think I’ve lost my faith
Out in the wind and waves
So I’m calling Your name
Please don’t let me go
Nights closing in
Strength’s wearing thin
I’m in over my head
This is an SOS
So I’m calling Your name
Please don’t let me go
Oh
Yahweh
Yahweh
Can You hear me?
Calling Your name
Yahweh
Oh, Yahweh
Please don’t let me go
I’m somewhere in-between
Faith and unbelief
I’ve seen You do miracles
But this looks impossible
So I’m calling Your name
Cause I need You to -
Pick me up and put me back together again
Cause I’m sinking down further now than I’ve ever been
Over the raging storm and the roaring wind
I’m calling, calling, calling
Oh, Yahweh
Yahweh (Yahweh)
Can You hear me?
Oh, Calling Your name
Yahweh
Oh, Yahweh
God I know who You are and I’ve seen what You can do
So whatever may come I’ll fix my eyes on You
So I’m calling Your name with my hands
