Kimono Club - A Japan Missionary Story
While the kimono is no longer daily wear for most Japanese people, it remains deeply ingrained in cultural traditions.
There is a trend within the younger Japanese generation to reintroduce kimono-wearing into everyday life, often blending them with modern fashion. And some enthusiasts, like Young Ah, have begun learning kitsuke, or the art of wearing a kimono using traditional layering, precise folding and proper tying of the sash.
