In 2026, fifty students boarded El Evangelista, a riverboat navigating the muddy waterways of the Peruvian Amazon, and spent five days in survival training, community outreach, and discipleship along the Ucayali River. Their destination was Bethania, a village only reachable by water. But the real journey was something harder to map.
