Here's Why Christian's Need to BEWARE of Taylor Swift

A lot of us don’t realize just how powerful music really is. The words we sing, the messages we absorb — they don’t just stay in our ears. They work their way into our hearts and shape the way we think, feel, and live.

As Christians, we’re called to guard our hearts. That includes being mindful of what we listen to, and what we let our children listen to.

This isn’t about calling out Taylor Swift. She seems like a kind and talented person. But when we look at the themes and messages in popular music — hers included — we have to ask ourselves: Does this honor God? Does it help me grow in holiness? Does it align with truth?

Music isn’t neutral. It has a message. And over time, that message forms a mindset.
