He Loved God, But Almost Ruined His Life
What do you do when a godly man is only hours away from destroying his life? In this video, we walk through one of the most intense and least-known stories in the Old Testament: the story of David, Nabal, and Abigail in 1 Samuel 25. A man the Bible calls “a man after God’s own heart” was hurt, insulted, and ready to wipe out an entire household before sunrise, and one courageous woman rode out to stop him. We’ll look at what pushed him to the edge, how she confronted a powerful man with humility and truth, what biblical submission really is (and what it isn’t), and the heartbreaking moment years later when no one stood in his way. If you’ve ever been tempted to make a permanent decision in a moment of hurt or anger, this story could change the trajectory of your life.
