Instead of focusing only on the diagnosis, my mom and I became determined to learn everything we could about nutrition, God's foods, and the lifestyle choices that support health. We discovered research on angiogenesis—the process that allows tumors to develop a blood supply—and the foods that may help interrupt that process.
What followed was not five years.
My mother lived nineteen years after that prognosis.
