Blessing Offor - "Broken Me" Lyric Video (Inspired by The Chosen)

A Personal Note from Blessing Offor:

""I am a huge fan of this show. Both in its artistic excellence and in the creative way it presents the Jesus narrative. This song comes from a place of appreciating all the questions James asked Jesus. And deeply resonates with Jesus’s answer. The waiting is hard, and yet the waiting can sometimes be the gift.""

LYRICS
Everybody’s stories' better
Everybody’s put together
They all got it figured out
I’m just here with all my doubts
Seems like they’re the ones You treasure
The ones You love, and You remember
But I know, though I don’t know how
That You’re working something out

With broken hands, and broken feet
With broken plans, and broken dreams
With every part, and every piece, that doesn’t fit so perfectly
With broken words and broken screams
You take all the scars, make a work of art
With broken me

I am not the storyteller
But what if I can’t take the pressure
What if it’s just way too much
Sometimes I feel like giving up
So can I see the Great Physician
Think I need a second opinion
I believe, help my unbelief
That He knows exactly what I need

With broken hands, and broken feet
With broken plans, and broken dreams
With every part, and every piece, that doesn’t fit so perfectly
With broken words and broken screams
You take all the scars, make a work of art
With broken me

Broken hands, broken feet
Broken plans, broken dreams
Every part, and every piece, that doesn’t fit so perfectly
With broken words and broken screams
You take all the scars, make a work of art
With broken me
