๐ Chia seeds absorb 10x their weight in water. Start each morning by adding 1TB of chia seeds soaked in 12 oz. of water. Let it sit for 10 minutes so chia seeds can bloom before drinking. This is a great way to hydrate the colon first thing in the morning before drinking dehydrating coffee.
๐ Okra is rich in fiber, magnesium, and folate. The mucilaginous components of okra soothe the lining of the digestive tract and can even help with peptic ulcers! Add 1 cup of frozen okra to your morning smoothie. Itโs totally tasteless and is an easy way to add more nutrients to your diet.
