ESTHER 5 | BIBLE STUDY WITH ME

Esther chapter 5 is where we start to get the to turning point in the story. Esther risks her life to go before the king to plead for her people - only, she doesn't immediately present her ultimate request. First, she asks to have a banquet with the king and Haman. Simultaneously, despite being honored by the king, Haman is growing more and more infuriated that he doesn't have any affect on Mordecai - whether to intimidate him or inspire awe. Through the unfolding of these events, God is meticulously setting the stage for the dramatic and ironic turn of events that is soon to come.
