Without Jesus You are nothing<br />
<br />
Two donkeys were walking down the road in Jerusalem one day. <br />
One of the donkeys said, <br />
"Wow, Yesterday I was carrying Jesus on my back, <br />
People were hailing me, screaming and shouting, Hosanna! Hosanna!!<br />
<br />
People even kept their clothes on the ground for me to walk on, <br />
and those who did not have any clothes had to put down palm leaves for me to walk on.<br />
<br />
But today, when I walked through the same road, <br />
nobody recognized me, and no one even said anything to me."<br />
<br />
The second donkey smiled and said, "Hmmmmm.... <br />
<br />
Don't you know that you are nothing without Jesus?"<br />
<br />
Certainly, without Jesus, we are nothing.<br />
So, if we want to become anything, or if we want to succeed in life, we must invite Jesus into our life.<br />
<br />
We must fully depend on Jesus, without Him we have nothing, but with Him we have everything. <br />
<br />
When we dont have Christ we have no power over sin, Satan, and we dont truly have life.<br />
<br />
<br />
John 15:4-5 says<br />
Remain in me, as I also remain in you. No branch can bear fruit by itself; it must remain in the vine. Neither can you bear fruit unless you remain in me. “I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing.”<br />
<br />
The Lord is our strength, He directs our lives, and He is our deliverer.<br />
God opens doors that no man, no devil, no hater can shut!<br />
<br />
By praying we are admitting that without Christ we can do nothing. <br />
<br />
And prayer is turning ourselves to God in the confidence that he will provide the help we need.<br />
<br />
Let us pray.<br />
<br />
Heavenly Father, we are nothing without You. <br />
We know in our hearts that You, are the most supreme power over our lives.<br />
And that all things You do, are for our ultimate good.<br />
<br />
<br />
We pray today, that Your consistent grace, the constant mercy of the Lord Jesus Christ, and ceaseless love of the Holy Spirit be with us always.<br />
<br />
May the favor of the Lord our God be upon us and our household, <br />
May the Holy Spirit shield us with abundant love and protection throughout the day! <br />
<br />
May Lord Jesus, The True Vine, bestow favor and honor us and our family.<br />
Loving God, pour out your love on every hurting heart and heal the wounded places in our lives<br />
<br />
<br />
Heavenly Father You are our Rock and our Refuge!!!<br />
We truly trust in Your power, almighty Father, <br />
We trust in Your plans, we trust in Your timing.<br />
We will trust You no matter what happens, because without You we are nothing.<br />
<br />
We make this prayer through Christ our Lord. Amen<br />
