What's Better Than Living Like a King?

Introduced in Season 3, Episode 1, Joanna is a real person from the Gospels. (Check out Luke 8:2-3.) Though we don’t know much about her historically, the little we do know says a lot. She was married to Chuza, the man who ran Herod Antipas’ household, which means she was rich and powerful with direct access to “the king of the Jews.” So it’s no small thing that she ended up serving a completely different King.
