Today I get to share another recipe with you. And it's a recipe I have a feeling it's going to be a family favorite. I know it is for me as well. Well, this recipe is my Mediterranean olive linguine recipe, and it's got some linguini, it's got some mushrooms, it's got some olives, it's got some I was gonna tell you the secret ingredient, and it has great flavor.
Okay, so let's get started. This is linguini, my Mediterranean olive linguine recipe, we are going to go ahead and put our linguini and some boiling water and get that cooking.
While we do that, we're going to start with the other ingredients. The other ingredients include lots and lots and lots of garlic.
We're going to zest some lemons. Yes, this is the surprise ingredient.
Then we're also going to juice two lemons. We're going to combine that with the zest and the lemon juice and have that ready for us. We're going to have our sliced olives ready to go we're going to need just about one cup.
We're going to do half a cup of mushrooms. We're going to cook all of that in the skillet. Then we're going to add the linguini into the skillet. Oh, I forgot to mention, we're going to use napa cabbage. Now, napa cabbage is just a little bit easier to chew than the green cabbage that we buy a lot or the red cabbage - those are just so thick that they don't work well in this recipe. So we're looking for some of the lighter texture cabbages and don't forget cabbage is one of our cruciferous vegetables.
