Reporting from Rome: Day One

Friends, my team and I are here in Rome. Today we celebrated Mass at St. Joachim and ventured over to Santa Maria Maggiore. Between today’s Gospel reading and being in Rome for this historic moment in the life of the Church, I can’t help but reflect on St. Peter and the qualities to look for in his successor.
