What are the best foods to lower cholesterol naturally—and can you really lower cholesterol in just 30 days without medication?
Today I’m answering one of the most common questions I get: What is the best food for lowering cholesterol? And I have to tell you—this is one of my favorite topics because we get to see God’s handiwork in the answer.
For 30 days, we committed to:
✔️ A high-fiber diet
✔️ No processed foods
✔️ No sugar
✔️ No animal products (just for that season)
✔️ Whole foods God created to nourish and heal the body
At the time, I had just started milling my own wheat and learning more deeply about how fiber works in the body. We decided to go all in.
And 30 days later?
We walked back into the doctor’s office with our new bloodwork in hand.
My husband’s LDL cholesterol dropped from 300 to 140 in just 30 days.
His triglycerides dropped from 900 to 160.
And he lost 15 pounds.
That was a turning point for us—and one of the reasons I’m so passionate about teaching biblical nutrition today.
