Your TEST Was Never Meant to Break YOU — Matthew 15

Welcome to "Your TEST Was Never Meant to Break YOU." Today, Shauna Pinder invites you to receive a word that will change the way you pray when heaven seems silent — because Matthew 15:21-28 reveals that the silence of Jesus was never rejection. It was a setup for the greatest miracle in the room.

Have you ever cried out to God and heard nothing back? Have you kept pressing in — kept asking, kept knocking — while everyone around you told you to stop? If that is where you are today, this message was prepared for you.

A Gentile woman — a foreigner with no covenant claim — came to Jesus with one desperate need. Her daughter was tormented by a demon. And she came with everything she had.

"A Gentile woman who lived there came to him, pleading, 'Have mercy on me, O Lord, Son of David! For my daughter is possessed by a demon that torments her severely.'" — Matthew 15:22 (NLT)

Let these words resonate within your heart today. She called Him LORD — the owner, the master, the one with all authority. She called Him SON OF DAVID — the promised Messiah. She was an outsider who recognized what many insiders had missed. Take comfort in this — the size of your faith matters more to Jesus than the size of your credentials.

"But Jesus gave her no reply, not even a word." — Matthew 15:23 (NLT)

Understand this — His silence was not His answer. The disciples saw a begging nuisance. Jesus saw great faith being proven. When He seemed to push her away she came closer. When He gave no word she kept speaking. When the disciples urged Him to send her away she worshipped. She was so locked in on the miracle that she refused to be offended, refused to be dismissed, and refused to leave without what she came for.

"She replied, 'That's true, Lord, but even dogs are allowed to eat the scraps that fall beneath their masters' table.'" — Matthew 15:27 (NLT)

What is in the loaf is in the crumb. If deliverance is in the loaf it is in the crumb. She did not care how she received the miracle — as long as she received it. Unoffendable. Immovable. Unshakeable. And Jesus stopped and said —

"Dear woman, your faith is great. Your request is granted." And her daughter was instantly healed. — Matthew 15:28 (NLT)
