Have you been believing God for something without seeing any movement? Trusting in your heart but staying quiet with your mouth? Let these words resonate within your heart today. Abraham did not look at his body — now dead since he was about a hundred years old. He did not look at Sarah's womb — already dead. He looked at the stars. He spoke agreement with what God said. And faith — expressed through his voice — became righteousness. Take comfort in this — the moment you open your mouth and speak agreement with what God has promised, something shifts in the spiritual realm that silence cannot produce.
When Abraham went to sacrifice Isaac he told his servants — "Stay here with the donkey; the lad and I will go yonder and worship, and WE will come back to you." WE. Not just I. He spoke resurrection before resurrection had ever happened. He called the place Yahweh-Yireh — the Lord will provide — before the ram appeared in the thicket. That is the voice of faith. Calling things that are not as though they are.
