YOU Are Leaving Less to Step Into Something GREATER

There is a season, a place, or a familiar comfort that YOU can feel God moving YOU out of — and everything in YOU wants to hold on to it, because it is known, it is safe, and leaving it feels like losing something. He walked away from the place He was from — the place that had not received Him.

He did not stay where He was overlooked and underestimated. He left it, and He relocated to a new place. And the moment He did, Scripture describes something remarkable happening there: people who had been sitting in darkness suddenly saw a great light. The very region He moved into became the launching ground for everything His ministry became known for.

Here is what most people miss.

Everything opened up in the new place. The sick were brought and healed. Crowds gathered. And in that new territory He encountered a level of faith so remarkable it amazed even Him — the kind of faith He said He had not found anywhere else. None of that happened in the place He left. It happened in the greater place He stepped into. What looked like leaving less was actually the entrance into more than He had walked in before.

Even after all of that — even when the people in the new place wanted to hold on to Him and keep Him from leaving — He would not settle, even there. He said He had to keep moving, because there was more He was sent to do. He refused to let even a good season become the place He stopped growing. He kept stepping into greater.
