YOU are BROKEN But Not FORGOTTEN — Ruth 1

This Mother's Day message is for every woman who is carrying something heavy. Every mother who has lost someone she loved. Every woman who has walked a road she never expected to walk. Every person who has looked at the ruins of what used to be and wondered — does God still see me? Does He still care? Is He still there?

I want you to stop right now and receive this truth — because what God did for Naomi in Ruth chapter 1 is exactly what He is doing for YOU today.

Naomi lost her husband. She lost both of her sons. She was in a foreign land with nothing left but two daughters-in-law and a grief so deep she told the people of Bethlehem to call her Mara — meaning bitter — because the Almighty had dealt bitterly with her. She felt forgotten. She felt empty. She felt like it was over.

"But the LORD said, 'I have certainly seen the oppression of my people in Egypt. I have heard their cries of distress because of their harsh slave drivers. Yes, I am aware of their suffering.'" — Exodus 3:7 (NLT)

Let these words resonate within your heart today. God sees oppression. God hears cries. God is AWARE of suffering. Take comfort in this truth — the same God who heard the cries of His people in Egypt heard Naomi's cry in Moab. And He hears YOUR cry today. You are not too broken for God to see. You are not too empty for God to fill. You are not too far gone for God to reach.
