His opponents dismissed Paul as being 'weak in presence' and having 'speech of no account.' Yet, God chose him to change the world. Are we overlooking God's chosen leaders by using man-made metrics? Church leadership is being presented as a 'job' to be filled by 'applicants' in our days - the position of pastor/elder/overseer is not a 'job' to be filled by an 'employee,' but a place of service within the church wherein a man's character and spiritual gifting is recognized for the benefit of the church.
