Will God's vengeance bring the end of the world? Christian Questions, Moments that Matter

Many Old Testament prophecies talk about God’s vengeance and to be honest, they aren’t pretty. Mountains quake or fall into the sea, hills melt like wax and the fire of God’s anger consumes the earth. Is God so mad at us that there will be nothing left of the earth but burnt and desolate ruins?

NO! In a recent podcast we observed that understanding only comes by abandoning our preconceived conclusions and viewing the big picture. God is bigger than the ruthless, thoughtless and furious vengeance that some attribute to him. These prophecies need the context of bible symbolism to be clearly understood.
