Will God forgive me? Christian Questions, Moments that Matter

God forgives us in two different ways. Our most comprehensive forgiveness is related Adam’s original sin that led to all of humanity to be born in sin and destined for death. When Jesus died on the cross, he sacrificed his own perfect humanity to take Adam’s place resulting in salvation from death coming to all, either now or in the future.

In a recent podcast we acknowledged this is GREAT NEWS! But we still have a problem. We still sin! We still do and say things that just aren’t right. The good news here is that God does forgive those sins as well. However, because we originate those sins, we’re responsible to seek God’s forgiveness. Is it that easy, ask and it’s done? Not quite.
