Why Your Life Didn't End When They Left
Ecclesiastes 3 | 9 PEOPLE GOD REMOVES
There are people who left your life that you are still trying to understand.
Not because the leaving was quiet. Because it was not. It was disruptive, confusing, sometimes painful — and the explanation you were given, if one was given at all, never fully satisfied the question of why someone who was supposed to be there is no longer there.
What if some of those exits were not what you thought they were?
Ecclesiastes 3 opens with one of the most quoted statements in all of Scripture — and most people stop reading before they reach the verses that contain the detail that changes everything. Because a few lines after the most famous line, there is a description of something God does with the people in our lives — a turning away, a letting go, a throwing out — that most people have been interpreting as loss rather than what it actually is.
Divine removal.
Not every departure was the enemy's doing. Not every exit was a failure of the relationship. Some of the people who are no longer in your life were removed — not abandoned, not taken by accident, not lost — removed. By the same hand that put them there in the first place.
And this message identifies nine of them.
Nine specific categories. Nine types of people. Nine descriptions that will cause every person watching to stop at least once — and quietly recognize someone they have been grieving, someone they have been trying to bring back, someone they have been blaming themselves for losing — and understand for the first time that the removal was not a mistake.
It was a season ending.
Here is what makes this passage different from every other scripture on relationships — it does not tell you the removal was easy. It does not tell you it did not hurt. It simply tells you that there is a time for it. And that the one who determines the times has not made a single error in the timing of who has come into your life — or who has left it.
Who are the nine?
Press play — because 9 PEOPLE GOD REMOVES is in this message. And at least one of them is someone you already know.
