Why Do Christians Turn Away from the Truth? - John Stevens
Tragically, several high-profile Christian leaders have fallen away from the faith in the last year. Why? How does someone go from being faithful to being faithless? C.S. Lewis wrote, 'Indeed, the safest road to Hell is the gradual one—the gentle slope, soft underfoot, without sudden turnings, without milestones, without signposts.' How does this happen? This workshop addresses: Why do leaders fall away? How can we guard against falling away? And how should we treat those who fall away?
